NOVA SCOTIA BUILDING SUPPLIES in Blockhouse has an immediate opening for a summer student to join our Yard Staff.
Family owned and operated, we are a full-service building supply and hardware store. We work hard to maintain our reputation for having a knowledgeable staff and high-quality products.

The Yard Staff are responsible for the customer service experience as it is provided to contractors, builders and customers during the picking and loading of purchased products. You must have the ability to effectively communicate to customers and coworkers to ensure friendly, efficient and accurate picking of products. Yard Staff are expected to understand and adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines to ensure the safety of themselves and all those involved.
This is a full-time summer position, approx. 40 hours per week (4 days through the week and Saturday- no Sundays). May lead into part-time position during the school year.
Qualifications:
Customer service focused
Effective communication skills
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Some Heavy Lifting is required
